BRB Building My Legacy 2026 Entrepreneur Retreat Recap

We just wrapped the 2026 BRB Building My Legacy Entrepreneur Retreat — and it is impossible to put into words what happened in that room over the last four days. So we will try anyway.

From April 16 through April 19, a room full of visionary women founders, operators, and builders gathered to do what most entrepreneurs never actually slow down long enough to do: see their vision clearly, rebuild their foundation, and commit out loud to the version of themselves they are becoming.

What happened this weekend wasn’t a conference. It wasn’t a content dump. It was a curated transformation, and every single detail was crafted on purpose.

Women were all Entrepreneurs from just starting their business to being in business for 10 years, no matter what the level everyone had something new to learn.

Thursday — Arriving With Intention

We opened the retreat the way we always do — softly. The evening was for settling in, reading the welcome letter Mel left in every room, and sitting with a journaling prompt before joining the welcome dinner. Over Tuscan white bean soup and warm garlic-sourdough toast, every woman introduced herself and shared what she was building. You could feel the room recalibrate in real time.

Itza Cintron of Face Edit By Itza was set up all night offering IV therapy bags, helping everyone arrive in their body and not just their calendar. We closed the night with a nighttime rituals workshop and a sound bath, plus a raffle for a hand-poured candle from The Pure Essentials.

Friday — VIP Workshop Day

Friday was the day we went to work. Pilates at 8 a.m. with Ricely Estela of The Glo Media to activate the body before we asked the mind to show up. Then six back-to-back workshops designed to rebuild the operating system of a business from the inside out:

  • Vision Development & Overall Business Plan — led by Melody Duarte. Goals left the notes app and made it onto paper. Binders were filled. Visions got specific.

  • Operations & Delegation — led by Alexis Mastrogianni of Virtual Integrity Partners. We built real delegation lists and stopped calling CEO work that is actually assistant work.

  • Business Legal Foundations Lunch & Learn — led by Berkley Sweetapple of Berkley Sweetapple Law. Trademarks, contracts, and the legal scaffolding every empire needs. A lot of “I needed to hear that” nods happened over grilled parmesan-herb chicken.

  • Financial Projections & Organizing Your Finances — led by Jessica Benetiz of BM Advisory Co. Numbers became language instead of fear.

  • Wealthy Woman Blueprint — led by Allie Miller, CFP® of The Miller Financial Group. Aligning money with mission so the business fuels the life instead of swallowing it.

  • Marketing & Community Building — led by Ricely Estela. Content stopped being a chore and started being a strategy.

  • CEO Mindset — led by Liany Pacheco, LMFT, CCTP of From Your Therapist’s Couch. The deepest session of the day. Women named the narratives they’ve been operating under and chose new ones out loud.

Dinner that evening was shrimp mythos with a book exchange at the table — because great entrepreneurs never stop learning.

Saturday — Individual Work Day

Saturday was the day the work got personal. Pilates and a sound bath with Ricely to open. Then a hands-on makeup class with Ajele Aisa of Glam By Ajele Aisa — because showing up as the CEO you are starts from the outside in. Then Melody and Ricely co-led the Content Creation Strategy session, and the room turned into an actual production studio.

Biz Mini brand photography sessions ran all day with Ricely. Melody 1:1s ran simultaneously. Women filmed content, rewrote packages, relaunched brands in their heads, and for some, on the spot.

Sunday — Integration, Commitment, Legacy

The closing day was sacred. A final sound bath. A closing circle where every woman in the room spoke her commitment out loud — the goals, the actions, and the version of herself she is choosing to become for the quarter ahead.

There is no way to overstate what it sounds like when a room full of CEOs speaks their next chapter into existence at the same time.

The Breakthroughs

There is no such thing as a retreat without breakthroughs — but this year’s were especially loud. A few we can share:

  • A founder finally named her offer suite and walked out of the weekend with fully priced packages she is ready to launch.

  • A nurse practitioner mapped out the next chapter of her clinic — including the team hires she’s been avoiding — after the Operations & Delegation workshop.

  • Multiple women committed to filing their trademarks within 30 days after sitting with Berkley.

  • A founder rebuilt her pricing from the ground up after the financial projections workshop, realizing she had been underpricing her expertise for years.

  • In the CEO Mindset session, more than one woman identified the exact story she had been telling herself that was keeping her business stuck — and chose a new one in the room.

  • A full Biz Mini shoot turned into a brand relaunch before the weekend was over.

  • Every woman in the closing circle committed, out loud, in front of the room, to a specific 90-day goal. Every. Single. One.

What’s Next With The Biz People

We believe in rhythm. Retreats mark the milestones — but the work happens in the seasons between them. That’s why this year, The Biz People is expanding what we offer so you can plug in at every stage of your build.

Master CEO Day — Two Day Retreats in 2026

We’re bringing two one-day Master CEO Day Retreats to the calendar this year — one in June and one in September. Think of these as a focused reset: a single day designed to get you out of the weeds, back into your vision, and operating like the CEO you actually are. Same level of intention as the full retreat, in a one-day container.

Biz Minis — Two New Opportunities in 2026

We’re also hosting two additional Biz Mini Opportunities this year — one in June and one in September — for anyone who wants updated, on-brand photography and content that positions you as the CEO of your business. Spots will be limited.

Planning for 2027 Starts Now

Every year, we commit to making this retreat better than the last. Planning for next year is already underway, and spots will be released on a first-come, first-served basis.
